Druid Academy of Irish Dance offers classes aimed at producing world class Irish dancers in a supportive and fun environment, using traditional Ulster style training methods coupled with new and original techniques and exercises designed and taught by Glenn Simpson TCRG, ADCRG.

Students from age 4 and older are given warm up + basic technique exercises, with basic foundation steps using soft shoes and are expected to attend 1 class per week
|
Students who have attended class for more than 1 year are given the next level steps + techniques and learn both soft and hard shoe dances and are expected to attend at least 2 classes per week
|
Students are trained in all aspects of competitive Irish Dance, attend regular competitions and are encouraged to attend 3 classes per week, commit to regular home practise and participate in dance-outs and performances. |
Students from 18+ learn warm up and basic foundation steps and dance in groups of 4 + 8 learning traditional ceili dances from "An Rince Foirne". Perfect for total beginners of all ages to have a fun cardio workout. |

Beginners Welcome
At Druid Academy there is an open registration policy meaning that beginners can start any time of the year. For more information on the new downtown location and the Adult ceili classes please contact me directly.

Registration + Fee's Annual Registration fee $35 is due at the start of the Fall semester. Annual Class fee's are due at the start of Fall semester, payable by post dated cheques. Students can purchase Druid Academy tee-shirts, to be worn in Class.

Irish Dance Competition Students will be given intensive expert training, world class choreography and competition guidance. A high level of commitment to classes, home practise routine and physical fitness is expected. Parents and Students will be given the option of whether or not they wish to enter Irish Dance Competition, known as a Feis.
